Throughout the year, Watertown hosts more than 50 local events that draw people from near and far. Riverfest, the four day free music festival with national acts, is our biggest party of the year. Or participate in our many races; 5Ks, 10Ks, or half marathon, and even a duathalon! Let us know what you enjoy, and we will help you find it!

Historic Watertown has many houses and buildings from the mid 1800’s that are still beautiful today. We have seasonal tours of The Octagon House and the First Kindergarten, and you can learn the history of Trivoli Island. The Katherine Holle House can provide brochures for several walking tours of Watertown such as Murals and Ghost Signs, Historic Breweries, and Churches . The Rock River winds it’s way around the city, providing a beautiful backdrop.

The Octagon House is a historical house that is open to visitors from May through October. The house is a 5 story house from the 1850s.

Aztalan State Park
Aztalan State Park

The Aztalan State Park is open year-round from 6 am to 10 pm and is composed of prairies and woodlands. Guests can go hiking, fishing, and boating.

Glacier Rock Farms
